Bandhavgarh National Park

Pench National Park

Located 70 kms from Nagpur city and named after the Pench river which flows from north thru south of the park, Pench National Prk is nestled after Satpuda Hills and covers an area of 758 sq kms approx. It was declared a wild life sanctuary in 1983 and has an abundant variety of flora and fauna. The best time to visit Pench National Park is during summer as all the wildlife habitats come out in search of water. It is also the 19th Tiger Reserve in the country. There is high density of the wild pig, nilgai, chital, muntjac, gaur and four horned antelope.

Ranthambore National Park

Ranthambhore National Park, also in Rajasthan is one of the most popular national parks in India and famous for tigers. Located in Swai Madhopur district of Rajasthan, India, the park encompasses tropical dry deciduous forests and rich diversity of plants and animals including birds and reptiles and rich flora and fauna. It was originally a hunting ground of the Maharaja of Jaipur. Also, tigers are relatively easy to spot here.

Kaziranga National Park

Kaziranga National Park in Assam in Eastern India offers an opportunity to watch one-horned rhinoceroses. Not only one-horned rhino, you will also get to see water buffalo, swamp deer, tigers, leopards, birds, reptiles, etc in Kaziranga Wildlife Assam, India. Nagarhole National Park

Located in Mysore district of Karnataka, South India, Nagarhole Natio nal Park India is famous for its rich flora and fauna. Nagarhole National park derives its name from two Kannada words-'Nagar,' meaning snake, and 'hole,' meaning streams. Periyar National Park

Corbett National Park

Established in 1936 and located in the foothills of Himalayan region and also a part of Indian Government's Tiger Project, Jim National Corbett Park is home to rich and variety of flora and fauna. This is the oldest wildlife sanctuary of India named after the great hunter, naturalist, photographer, author, humanitarian, and fearless Jim Corbett. Jim Corbett lived in these regions and saved the life of many local people from the man-eater tigers on risk of his own life. The best time is in between April to June for tiger spotting in the park. The park can be best explored by jeep and elephant safaris - both very popular amongst the tourists.

Kanha National Park

Established in the year 1955 and sandwiched between Halon Valleys and Banjar Valleys, Kanha National Park finds its name in Rudyard Kipling's classic novel, The Jungle Book. The park covers an area of 1945 sq km. It is well regarded for its research and conservation programs, and many endangered species have been saved here. Apart from tigers, the park abounds with swamp deer and other animals and birds.

Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary

Also known as the Kaladeo National Park, the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary in the state of Rajasthan has been designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It becomes a haven for various species of birds including water birds and migratory birds. The park can be best explored in boat rides, bicycles and cycle rickshaw - all of which are available at the park itself. Endangered animals like Sambar, Chita, Nilgai, and Boar can be seen apart from the birds.

Sasangir National Park/Gir Wildlife Sanctuary

World famous for Asiatic lions and other wild animals, Sasangir National Park, the Gir forest is a thick composition of trees like teak, jamum, acacia, tendu, dhak, grasslands, etc. The Gir is a mixed deciduous type of forest with teak, ber, flame of the forest, jamun, a variety of acacia, particularly babul. It is a hilly territory with plenty of rivers, and offers the visitor long pleasant drives, through the thick forest cover.

Sunderbans National Park

Apart from being the largest national park and Tiger Reserve in India, it is also a wildlife sanctuary, tiger reserve, Biosphere reserve, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Sunderbans National Park and Tiger Reserve is known for its Royal Bengal Tigers and also it is a paradise for birdwatchers. It is located on the world's largest delta, Sunderbans Delta in West Bengal.
