Easily accessed from Srinagar, this mountain resort comes alive during winter, if you are a ski enthusiast. Else, one can find snow even during the month of April - May. Take the Gondola ride to reach Gulmarg and you can have breathtaking views of the snow clapped valleys and mountains. Even the uphill drive to Gulmarg is absolutely scenic and picturesque.

Pahalgam - Also another easily accessible, Pahalgam is another hill station for relaxation and leisure. One can have breathtaking panoramic views of the beautiful Himalayan Ranges. It is also the base camp for the renowned pilgrimage to Amarnath. Saffron here is famous worldwide.
